After receiving his dental degree from School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve in 1994, Dr. Calderón completed a one-year general practice residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He then completed a two-year program at the United States Dental Institute, where he received his certification in orthodontics. Dr. Calderón also completed two years at New York University as an implant resident and has been surgical director of the NYU Implant and Prosthetic Department since 2009. Dr. Calderon established his private practice in West Islip, NY and opened a second location in Oceanside, NY, where he provides advanced surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry and facial rejuvenation services. He established the Calderón Institute, a training center that offers courses for all levels of implant dentistry. Dr. Calderón is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and American Board of Oral Implantology and lectures nationally and internationally.

Dr. Rypl received his dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, then completed a one-year residency at Nassau University Medical Center in June 2018. He volunteers his time training residents in practice-based patient care and treatment plan organization. Dr. Rypl completed implant training at the Calderón Institute in the Dominican Republic and Oceanside, NY, and is currently taking advanced courses in pursuit of implant credentialing. Dr. Rypl joined the FLT team in November 2018 and provides a comprehensive spectrum of general dentistry services.
